Former Indian captain Rohit Sharma has lost one of his big T20 International records. Rohit earlier held the world record for hitting the most sixes as a captain in T20Is, but UAE skipper Muhammad Waseem has now broken it. Rohit had smashed 105 sixes as a T20I captain, which was the highest until recently.
However, Waseem set a new benchmark by hitting 110 sixes as a captain during the T20 match against Afghanistan yesterday. In that game, he smashed 6 sixes and scored 67 runs off 37 balls. Despite his brilliant knock, UAE ended up losing the match by 38 runs.
Waseem’s innings couldn’t save UAE
