The Indian cricket team will play the Asia Cup 2025 without a jersey sponsor after Dream11’s contract with the BCCI came to an end. Team India all-rounder Shivam Dube confirmed the news by sharing pictures of the team’s new kit on social media. India will play its opening match of the tournament against the UAE on 10th September.
Shivam Dube posted photos on Instagram showcasing the team’s new jersey, which clearly shows that there is no sponsor’s logo on the front. Only the tournament logo and India’s name are visible. The BCCI has already invited applications for a new lead sponsor, with the last date to purchase tender documents set for 12th September and the final submission deadline on 16th September. To avoid similar issues in the future, the board has also prepared a list of “restricted and prohibited brands” for sponsorship deals.

Dream11 and BCCI contract terminated
BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia recently confirmed to the media that the board and Dream11 mutually agreed to terminate their partnership. The decision came after President Droupadi Murmu signed the Online Gaming Promotion and Regulation Bill 2025 into law. Due to this, Team India currently does not have any jersey sponsor.
Meanwhile, the BCCI has increased the base price for Team India’s jersey sponsorship rights. For bilateral matches, the base price has been set at ₹3.5 crore per match, while for multilateral tournaments, it is ₹1.5 crore per match. Over the next three years, Team India is expected to play around 130 matches, which could generate over ₹400 crore in revenue. With Dream11 stepping away, the bidding process for the new sponsor will take place on 16th September.
