In the ICC ODI Team Rankings, India is also at the top. Rohit Sharma’s ODI side has 124 rating points. India last played an ODI in March 2025 and will now face Australia in an ODI series in October. New Zealand is second with 109 points, followed by Australia (106) in third place, Sri Lanka (103) fourth, and Pakistan (100) fifth.
In the ICC Test Team Rankings, India currently sits in fourth place with 107 rating points. New Zealand follows in fifth with 96 points. Australia leads the Test rankings with 124 points, South Africa is second with 115, and England is third with 112. Earlier, the five-match Test series between India and England, played from June 20 to August 4, ended in a 2-2 draw. Shubman Gill is the captain of the Indian Test team. India’s next assignment is a two-match home Test series against West Indies starting on October 2.
