India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Tickets Sold in Black Market for 15.75 Lakh Before Official Release

The Asia Cup is set to begin on 9th September in the UAE, with eight teams participating in the tournament. Team India will start their campaign on 10th September against the UAE. However, cricket fans are most eagerly waiting for 14th September, when India and Pakistan will face each other in Dubai. Amidst this excitement, there is growing controversy, as many people are demanding that Team India should not play the match due to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

Tickets being sold for ₹15.75 lakh in black market

Before the official ticket launch, reports suggest that tickets for the India vs Pakistan clash are already being sold on the black market for as high as ₹15.75 lakh. This comes at a time when tensions between India and Pakistan remain high following Operation Sindoor. Despite this, the central government has granted permission for the match to take place. The official ticket sales are expected to begin within the next two days.

ECB issues warning to cricket fans

According to reports, some fake websites are selling Asia Cup tickets, especially for the India-Pakistan match, with prices ranging from ₹26,256 to ₹15.75 lakh. The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed has warned fans not to fall for these fraudulent websites. He stated that both the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and ECB have issued a social media alert advising cricket fans to purchase tickets only from the official website once sales officially begin.

ACC advises fans to be cautious

The ACC has not yet officially announced the ticket sales, but fake portals have already started selling them illegally. Fans are advised to avoid purchasing tickets from these sources.

After the 14th September encounter, India and Pakistan are set to clash again on 21st September. If both teams qualify for the Asia Cup Final on 28th September, cricket fans could witness a third India-Pakistan showdown in the same tournament.
