India is all set to tour England with a new captain at the helm. After the retirement of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill has been appointed as the new captain of India in the red-ball format. He will be guided by his deputy, Rishabh Pant, and head coach Gautam Gambhir.
Recently, SonyLIV — the official broadcast partner of the BCCI for the India vs England Test series in India — announced the list of commentators who will cover the proceedings during the five-match Test series. Surprisingly, Irfan Pathan has returned to Hindi commentary. Earlier, in March 2025, he was left out of the IPL commentary panel.
India vs England 2025 Test Series- English Commentators List
Sunil Gavaskar, Harsha Bhogle and Cheteshwar Pujara are named the Indian English commentators for the series. Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain and Michael Vaughan are set to the represent the British side in the English commentary panel. Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan is going to act as the English presenter during the series.

Hindi commentary panel of the series comprises more members than the English one. Irfan Pathan, Vivek Razdan, Ashish Nehra, RP Singh, Saba Karim, Gaurav Kapur and Ajay Jadeja are going to narrate and analyse the action in Hindi. Arjun Pandit is going to be presenter in Hindi language for SonyLIV.
